As a Research Assistant at the Tech Policy Lab, I focused on security and privacy issues related to IoT devices in the home, as well as anonymity within Bitcoin. Along with organizing an event co-hosted with the White House on AI, I organized the inaugural Global Tech Policy Summit held at the University of Washington. The Lab also organizes workshops, talks, and meetups around tech policy topics for the greater Seattle-area.

Most recently, the "Toys That Listen" research I worked on was just accepted into the ACM CHI 2017 conference. Learn more about the Tech Policy Lab.
